Helping Local Dancers Chase Big Dreams
The Relevé Dance Company Booster Club helps competitive dancers offset the cost of training, travel, costumes, and competitions through fundraising, sponsorships, and community support.
Our Impact
What This Community Has Built Together
Every number below is a dancer who stayed on the team, a fee that got covered, and a family that got a little breathing room. This is what local support makes possible.
Why We Exist
No Dancer Left on the Sidelines
The Relevé Dance Company Booster Club exists to make sure money is never the reason a kid steps off the stage. We're a parent-run, community-funded organization. We raise money through fundraisers, local sponsorships, and donations, and we put it straight back into our dancers — covering fees, easing travel costs, and awarding scholarships to families who need a hand.
We believe every dancer who's willing to put in the work deserves the chance to compete, grow, and shine. When you give, sponsor, or volunteer, you're not funding an abstract cause — you're keeping a specific kid in our community on stage, where she belongs.
Support Our DancersWhere Your Money Goes
Why Your Support Matters
Competitive dance is one of the most rewarding things a young person can do — and one of the most expensive. Here's exactly what your donations cover, and how each gift moves a dancer closer to the stage.
Travel Costs
Competitions take our teams across Illinois and beyond. Gas, hotels, and transportation add up fast — your support helps every dancer get there, not just the ones who can afford the trip.
Competition Fees
Entry fees for regional competitions are charged per dancer, per routine. Multiply that across a season and it's the single biggest cost a family faces. We help cover it.
Costumes
Every routine needs its own costume, and dancers often perform in several. Your gifts keep these costs from forcing families to choose which dances their child can do.
Training Expenses
Guest choreographers, extra technique classes, and convention workshops raise the whole team's level. Funding these gives our dancers a real shot against bigger programs.
Nationals
Earning a bid to Nationals is the highlight of a competitive season — and the most expensive trip of the year. We fundraise all year so a national stage is never out of reach.
Scholarships
When a family hits a wall, we step in quietly and directly. Scholarships keep dancers on the team through hard seasons, no questions asked, no child singled out.

From Our Community
Real Families, Real Impact
Don't take our word for it. Here's what dancers, parents, and local supporters say about what this booster club makes possible.
The Studio We Support
About Relevé Dance Company
The dancers we support train at Relevé Dance Company, an award-winning dance studio in Lockport, Illinois. Founded in 2022, the studio has quickly become one of the most respected youth dance programs in Will County — a three-time ADCC Studio of Excellence and a Voted Best of Southland winner, with a 4.8-star reputation built one family at a time. Our booster club is the parent-led fundraising arm that stands behind the studio's competitive dancers.
Relevé teaches dancers ages 3 to 18 across nearly every style — ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, acro, and poms — including styles few local studios offer. The studio's competitive dance program is built for dedicated young athletes who want to perform and train at a higher level, with expert coaching, advanced choreography, and real performance opportunities. For families just getting started, the studio's recreational dance classes offer the same quality instruction in a relaxed, no-pressure setting where kids build confidence and a lifelong love of movement.
Everything the studio does is built on one idea — RISE: Reach, Inspire, Succeed, Excel. It's a family-focused environment where every dancer is known by name, not treated like a number. That philosophy is exactly why our booster club works so hard for these kids: the studio gives them the training and the heart, and we help make sure the cost of competing never stands in the way. If your child is curious about the stage, the studio's dance team opportunities and youth dance classes are open for a free trial.
Our families come from all over the south and southwest suburbs — Lockport, Homer Glen, New Lenox, Orland Park, Frankfort, Mokena, Joliet, Lemont, Tinley Park, and Bolingbrook. Wherever you are in the area, when you support the Relevé Dance Company Booster Club, you're investing in your own community's young performers and in a studio that gives them somewhere to grow.
Good Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. The Relevé Dance Company Booster Club is a nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive a receipt for your records after you give.
How are donated funds used?
Nearly every dollar goes directly to our dancers — competition entry fees, costumes, travel and hotels, choreography, training, the trip to Nationals, and scholarships for families who need help. We keep overhead low because we're parent-run and volunteer-powered.
How do I become a sponsor?
Local businesses can sponsor at four levels, starting at $250 (Bronze) up to Title Sponsor at $2,500+. Sponsors get logo placement on our website, event programs, banners, and social media. Visit our Sponsors page to pick a tier and apply in a couple of minutes.
What's in it for sponsors?
Season-long exposure to hundreds of engaged local families across Lockport and the surrounding suburbs, plus the genuine goodwill of backing a youth team your community cares about. Sponsorships also support a nonprofit and may be tax-deductible.
How can I volunteer?
We need help with events, concessions, costume days, fundraising, and sponsor outreach — most roles take just an hour or two, and no dance experience is required. Sign up on our Volunteer page and tell us what fits your schedule.
What kinds of fundraisers do you run?
Spirit nights at local restaurants, product sales, sponsor drives, community showcases, and online giving campaigns. Families can help simply by attending, sharing, and shopping our sponsors. See what's active on our Fundraising page.
Do you offer scholarships for dancers?
Yes. When cost threatens to take a dancer off the team, families can apply for a scholarship that's reviewed privately and respectfully. Our goal is simple: no child stops dancing because of money. Learn more on our Scholarships page.
How is the booster club connected to Relevé Dance Company?
We're the independent, parent-run booster club that supports the competitive dancers of Relevé Dance Company, an award-winning dance studio in Lockport, IL. The studio provides the training; we raise the funds that help families afford to compete.
Who do you serve?
We support competitive dancers and their families throughout the area, including Lockport, Homer Glen, New Lenox, Orland Park, Frankfort, Mokena, Joliet, Lemont, Tinley Park, and Bolingbrook. Donors, sponsors, and volunteers from across the community are all welcome.
Do I have to be a dance parent to get involved?
Not at all. Many of our most valued donors, sponsors, and volunteers have no dancer of their own — they simply believe in supporting local kids and the arts. There's a place for everyone here.
